2013 DIY Costumes – part 5!

Today’s installment of “Build Your Own Costumes” at The Garment District includes: the Hamburglar, Grumpy Cat, a Juggalo & Juggalette, Pris from Blade Runner, Misty from Pokemon, and the Crimson Ghost!  Here goes:

For our Hamburglar costume, we used:

  • Sweater: DKNY, from our Women’s Designer department
  • Hat: Jacobson Hat Company, from our New Costume Accessories section
  • Gloves: Forum, from Boston Costume
  • Leggings: Blue Star, from By The Pound
  • Mask: Forum, from our New Costume Accessories section
  • Wig: Franco Sassy, from Boston Costume
  • Cape: Rubies, from our New Costume section
  • Tie: Carlton Shop, from our Used Accessories section (we printed out pictures of hamburgers and just pinned them to the tie!)

  • Pants: Dickies (with custom airbrushing) from our 1980’s/1990’s department
  • Shoes: Vegetarian Shoes, from our Used Shoe department
  • Makeup: Mehron, from Boston Costume

  • Garter Belt: Leg Avenue, from our New Costume department
  • Thigh-highs: Leg Avenue, from our New Accessories department
  • Boots: Lesac Jorgette, from our Used Shoe department
  • Wig: Franco Unisex Rocker, from Boston Costume
  • Makeup: Mehron, from Boston Costume
