The Garment District has everything you need to rock this New Year’s Eve!
We asked four of our employees to model for our NYE photo shoot. We tried to highlight some of the fun, interesting, and unique clothing, shoes, and accessories that can be found here at The GD. Read on for some more photos and details!
Eddie Kent is the store merchandiser. You may have bought some of his fabulous pop culture magnets, star picks, or restyled fashions from our store over the years! His style is always fun and one-of-a-kind. We asked him to pull some of his favorites to wear for our New Year’s shoot! Some of Eddie’s picks include a faux-fur vest, purple John Fluevogs, studded accessories, and a sweet rock tee.
Aldaysha started at The Garment District this fall, and her bubbly personality and infectious smile are the best! The moment we saw this gold sequin dress (from our Women’s Contemporary department) we knew it would look killer on her. We finished her outfit with a Chanel purse from our Designer Accessories section, and nude heels from our Shoe department.
Hayley started working at The Garment District in September, and her badass sense of style and personality are unmatched! We knew that she’d rock her sequin and ostrich-feather dress (lovingly nicknamed The Ostrich Disco!) For her full outfit, we put her in an incredible dress from our Used Costume department, a Betsey Johnson purse from our Designer Accessories section, Leg Avenue sparkle tights from our New Accessories section, and Kate Preston sparkle shoes from our Shoe department.
Binky’s been working at The Garment District since 2009, and we knew we couldn’t have a Rock ‘n’ Roll New Year’s shoot without our resident rocker! Binky’s MTV shirt is from our Rock Tees section, his Levi’s are from our Women’s Contemporary department, and his leather jacket is Knucklehead Leather for Allston Beat from our 1980’s/1990’s department. We also gave him some of our New Year’s party accessories: a “Happy New Year” shot glass necklace and a blowout noisemaker.
